Legal Debates

Legal debates are normally set up with two teams, each consisting of minimum two  up to five students, which are discussing a specific expertise in law or a particular legal issue in front of an audience. The Debate is chaired by a person acting as a moderator according to rules set up in advance.. Legal debates are normally being held on a topic that is up to date and of interest to the public.

This event should not give a stage to political polemic, but to controversial discussions. Aim of Legal Debates is to provide students the opportunity to practice to discuss and to give convincing and structured arguments.
